The weekend allows for the bike and run to be introduced and this is led by Coach Corey who has spent over 10 years developing junior triathletes to as high as representing Australia at an elite junior level. Sessions are held from Stromlo Leisure Centre and Stromlo Forest Park.
Little T’s Gungahlin is led Coach Rory, a U23Elite Triathlete and Development Coach who has been working with kids across triathlon and working for NSW Sport and Rec on holiday camps.
Other coaches that support the Stromlo and Gungahlin Little T’s Programs include Dave Williams a Performance Triathlon coach in Canberra who has many years coaching experience, Courtney Bacon who has a swimming background and has been one of Canberra’s best young gymnastic coaches for the past 7 plus years. Courtney is all so a primary school teacher.
For the convenience of families’ busy lifestyles sessions are for an hour and a half on either Saturday or Sunday afternoons depending on the centre you train out of. We train at this time to ensure there is no impact on other sports the kids may participate in.
Communication is via facebook messenger on the Little T’s Triathlon message group so contact us now if interested and we will add you so you know when the next session will be held.
